Local storage. setQuill stores workout records, weights, repetitions, durations, plans, custom exercises and personal notes in app storage. Preferences and active timers are stored on your device. The app does not require a developer account and includes no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not read Apple Health data or track your location.

Optional iCloud. When you enable sync, supported records and notes are uploaded to your Apple account’s private CloudKit database and merged with your other devices. Apple operates this service; we do not operate a separate server to receive your training records. Sync requires your Apple account and network availability. Turning sync off does not delete data already in iCloud. Active timers, drafts and display preferences stay local. Device backups may separately contain app data according to your Apple backup settings.

Apple Watch. Watch saves records locally and can transfer them to the paired iPhone through WatchConnectivity. Enabling iCloud on Watch instead allows direct uploads to the same Apple account’s private database over an available network. Pending offline records remain on Watch until synchronized. Phone and Watch active timers are independent.

System features and AI. Live Activities can show workout timers on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Rest alerts use notification permission. Siri and Shortcuts use Apple system services. On supported devices, the optional weekly recap processes weekly totals with Apple’s on-device model only when you request generation; setQuill does not send these totals to third-party AI providers. Apple’s own services are subject to Apple’s privacy policy.

Purchases. Apple processes payments. setQuill uses StoreKit to verify purchase entitlements and does not receive payment-card details. Plus is an optional one-time purchase; iCloud sync remains free.

Exports, links and support. You choose where exported CSV files are saved or shared. External course-source links follow the destination website’s policy. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide and use it to respond and resolve the request, retaining it only as needed for that purpose or legal obligations. Please do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal workout information. GitHub support issues are public; use email for private requests.

Deletion and control. Settings allows deletion of workouts, plans, custom exercises and notes. When iCloud sync is enabled or resumed, deletions propagate. Content-free deletion markers prevent older devices from restoring deleted entries. Synchronize pending Watch records before deleting phone data. Disabling sync or uninstalling the app does not itself erase cloud data, exported files or system backups; manage those separately in their storage locations and Apple settings.

Changes. We will update this page and its effective date when practices change. Contact the email above about privacy questions or requests. We cannot directly access or erase the contents of your private iCloud database on your behalf.

系统功能与 AI：实时活动可在锁屏和灵动岛显示计时，休息提醒使用通知权限。Siri 与快捷指令使用 Apple 系统服务。在支持的设备上，只有你主动生成智能回顾时，才会使用 Apple 设备端模型处理本周汇总；setQuill 不向第三方 AI 服务发送这些汇总。Apple 系统服务适用 Apple 自身的隐私政策。

购买：付款由 Apple 处理；应用通过 StoreKit 验证购买权益，不接收银行卡信息。Plus 为可选的一次性内购，iCloud 同步保持免费。

导出、外部链接与支持：CSV 的保存和分享目标由你选择；外部课程来源网站适用其自身政策。联系支持时，我们会收到你主动提供的信息，仅为回复、解决问题及必要法律义务保留。请勿发送密码、支付资料或不必要的私人训练数据。GitHub Issue 为公开内容，私人问题请发邮件。

删除与控制：可在设置中删除训练、课程、自定义动作与说明；启用或恢复 iCloud 同步后，删除会同步。云端保留不含记录内容的删除标记，以免旧设备恢复已删记录。删除手机数据前，请先同步手表待传记录。关闭同步或卸载不会自动清除云端数据、导出文件或系统备份，请分别在相应位置与 Apple 设置中管理。

政策更新：隐私处理方式变化时会更新本页面及日期。隐私问题请联系以上邮箱。我们无法代你直接读取或删除你的私有 iCloud 数据库内容。
